The RE4M – Recycling for Manufacturing plant, born from the experience gained by OSAI within the European project ADIR, is an innovative system for the automated extraction and selection of electronic components for the recovery of precious metals and critical raw materials.

RE4M makes it possible to apply the best existing technologies and experience to the world of WEEE – Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment – recycling, transforming waste into new raw material to be inserted into new production processes with a view to the circular economy.

The technology developed by Osai allows, in combination with the system of its partner BTT Italia S.r.l., high levels of efficiency with low environmental impact and the efficient refining of metals such as gold, silver, palladium and copper.

The plant and its innovative technology are patented.
