The twenty-fifth edition of Ecomondo, the reference event in Europe for technological and industrial innovation, an international trade fair that unites all sectors of the circular economy in a single platform, ended a few days ago. While waiting for the next edition, we decided to rewind the tape and relive the four days full of appointments and activities.
In front of the Green Technology Expo audience, President Mirella Ferrero together with CEO Fabio Benetti held the press conference dedicated to the official presentation of the fist Benefit Company of Osai Group, set up with the aim of actively contributing to the spread of automation in the recycling world, bringing efficiency, speed and sustainability.
“Osai GreenTech is a company that was already born great because it is born within a technological ecosystem that comes from thirty years of history and experience of the parent company Osai in the field of industrial automation,” and the RE4M System – Recycling for Manufacturing, illustrated by the company’s CTO Marco Guolo during the presentation dedicated to Osai GreenTech products, confirms this.
The progress of RE4M, the first plant of which is scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2023, was also the subject of the live talk held at the booth of Osai GreenTech – BTT Italia, the technological partner. Together with Sales Manager of BTT Italia Omar Antonio Cescut, Marco Guolo talked about “Ecomondo one year later, chronicle of a project … for the recovery of precious metals from WEEE“. The talk was also attended by the CEO of Iren Ambiente Toscana, Alfredo Rossini; Cristina Squarcialupi, President of Unoaerre Industries S.p.A.; Elena Varotto of the law firm Fieldfisher; Alessandro Della Valle, Presidente di Confindustria Cisambiente.
There were numerous interviews and participation in debates by the Osai team, including in which Fabio Benetti participated, the round table Digital Transition: the race against WEEE, organised by Confindustria Cisambiente at the Innovatec Group stand, where the CEO told how “we started from our systems intended for assembly and testing to do the exact opposite, the creation of solutions suitable for separating and sorting components. We have reached the realisation that automation can be the key factor for the ecological transition.”
Osai GreenTech’s first participation in a trade fair could not have taken place at another exhibition except at Ecomondo. An impossible success without all those who spent even a minute of their time at the fair to visit our booth.

Si è conclusa da pochi giorni la venticinquesima edizione di Ecomondo, l’evento di riferimento in Europa per l’innovazione tecnologica e industriale, fiera internazionale che unisce in un’unica piattaforma tutti i settori dell’economia circolare. In attesa di poterci incontrare la prossima edizione, abbiamo deciso di riavvolgere il nastro e rivivere i quattro giorni ricchi di appuntamenti e attività.
Davanti al pubblico del Green Technology Expo, la Presidente Mirella Ferrero insieme all’Amministratore Delegato Fabio Benetti ha tenuto la conferenza stampa dedicata alla presentazione ufficiale della prima Società Benefit del Gruppo OSAI, costituita con lo scopo di contribuire attivamente alla diffusione dell’automazione nel mondo del recycling, portando efficienza, velocità e sostenibilità.
«La Osai GreenTech è un’azienda nata già grande perché sorge all’interno di un ecosistema tecnologico che viene da trent’anni di storie e di esperienze della capogruppo Osai nel campo dell’automazione industriale» e il Sistema RE4M – Recycling for Manufacturing, illustrato dal CTO dell’azienda Marco Guolo durante la presentazione dedicata ai prodotti Osai GreenTech, ne è la conferma.
I progressi di RE4M, la cui consegna del primo impianto è prevista entro la fine del 2023, sono stati oggetto anche della live talk avvenuta all’interno dello stand espositivo Osai GreenTech – BTT Italia, partner tecnologico del progetto. Insieme al Direttore Commerciale di BTT Italia, Omar Antonio Cescut, Marco Guolo ha raccontato “Ecomondo un anno dopo, cronaca di un progetto … per il recupero dei metalli preziosi dal Raee.” Alla chiacchierata, hanno partecipato anche l’Amministratore Delegato di Iren Ambiente Toscana, Alfredo Rossini; Cristina Squarcialupi, Presidente di Unoaerre Industries S.p.A.; Elena Varotto dello studio legale Fieldfisher; Lucia Eva Leonessi, Direttrice Generale di Confindustria Cisambiente.
Numerose le interviste e le partecipazioni a dibattiti da parte del team Osai, tra cui quella di Fabio Benetti alla tavola rotonda Transizione digitale: la corsa al RAEE, organizzata da Confindustria Cisambiente presso lo stand Innovatec Group, in cui l’Amministratore Delegato ha raccontato come «siamo partiti dai nostri sistemi destinati all’assemblaggio e ai test per fare l’esatto contrario, ovvero la creazione di soluzioni adatte a separare e selezionare i componenti. Abbiamo raggiunto la consapevolezza che l’automazione possa essere il fattore chiave per la transizione ecologica.»
La prima partecipazione a una manifestazione fieristica di Osai Green Tech SB S.r.l. non sarebbe potuta avvenire a un’altra fiera se non ad Ecomondo. Un successo impossibile senza tutti coloro che hanno speso anche solo un minuto della loro permanenza in fiera per passare al nostro stand.
