RE4M PCB 150 AUTOMOTIVE

SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION FOR SEPARATING COMPONENTS AND UNLOCKS THE FULL VALUE OF YOUR PCBS AUTOMOTIVE

Compact system designed for end-of-life vehicle (EVL) treatment centers interested in the enhancement of automotive PCB boards.

The Re4M system, based on patented and proprietary controlled thermo-mechanical detachment technology, allows the separation of electronic components from the PCB board without the use of fossil fuels, obtaining two distinct fractions: bare or depopulated components and boards.

By separating components prior to resale or refining, the system reduces machining costs and maximizes value recovery by unlocking precious metal-rich material streams that achieve a market value much higher than intact PCBs.

The system, designed for easy installation and use, can be moved and transported thanks to its small size. The machine can be supplied with a chamber connected to a specific extraction system (fumes and dust) to isolate the system in compliance with environmental and occupational safety legislation.

On-board electronics, once considered a complex fraction or destined for undifferentiated crushing, is establishing itself as the resource with the highest value density of the entire car demolition supply chain, also thanks to the push towards the enhancement of automotive electronics introduced by recent European directives.

Electronic components such as engine control units (ECUs), safety modules (ADAS), infotainment systems and power converters are rich in precious metals and Critical Raw Materials (CRM) and represent a real urban mine on wheels.

The European ELV Regulation (2024/2026) which provides for the preventive disassembly of electronic boards (PCBs) before sending the car to be crushed does not represent a cost but a business opportunity to be seized promptly, investing in suitable processes and effective technologies capable of making the extraction and refining of precious metals more efficient and therefore making the most of this type of waste, transforming it into a strategic resource.
